Russell Underhill

Russell started his film career as a commercial director.

He spent more than fifteen years directing commercials for leading companies around the world. As a director, his work has been awarded on several occasions in New York, London, Southeast Asia and South Africa.

In 2012, Russell began working a producer for other directors (both award -winning directors as well as new talent)

Over the years Russell has produced hundreds of commercials with clients from five continents including countries such as Denmark, the United Kingdom, Australia, Vietnam, The Philippines, Singapore, Nigeria, Kenya, Angola, the USA, South Africa and Dubai.

On this journey, Russell has discovered a love for the finer aspects of food and beverage photography and moving images and is now producing at table top specialist company ‘The Bowling Alley.’

Laurika Venter

Laurika is one of the leading liquid and pack stylists in Africa. As a liquid and beverage specialist, she is a genius at mastering the finer details in all things liquid and packs.

Laurika hails from a background as an agency art director and a film art director. She has been working for more than two decades throughout Africa. Her skills have also been sought after by clients from Dubai, Europe, the United States and many other territories.

She has worked on hundreds of high-end liquid brands ranging from Stella Artois and Coca Cola to Heinz and Schweppes.

Laurika has an in-depth knowledge of the tricks of the trade necessary to make client product look like a mouthwatering wonderland.

As a co-founder of “The Bowling Alley” tabletop company, Laurika is committed to ensuring clients expectations are exceeded.

Gavin Sterley

For more than a decade, Gavin has been a sought-after cinematographer on high profile TV series and content. He is known for being a perfectionist with an eye for minute detail and has received many accolades in this visual journey.

After working on a huge food brand for an international client (Heinz Middle East), Gavin realized his love of tabletop work. He is now applying his detailed, high-end lighting and camera skills to the food and beverage visuals of many fortunate clients.

Jane–Anne Raath

Jane-Anne is our valued producer that we are lucky enough to call on. Jane has roots in the commercial and feature film lane and more recently in digital and retail targeted content.

She has produced many local and international commercials, worked on huge feature films. She has also worked in agency and marketing for big brands strategizing, producing and implementing hundreds of social media campaigns.

She is a recently qualified information and communications lawyer adding to her astute producing toolkit and general business savviness. With Jane there is not a cent wasted nor an unnecessary risk taken on her watch!

She is passionate about getting value for money quality content that in her own words ‘isn’t a rip off’.
